Updates for All Clarity Users
Improved Patient Search
• Use the Search field at the top of the Clarity screen to search using patient name, DOB, SSN, Clarity ID, your EMR Order ID (for integrated customers).
• Potential matches will display the reason for a match (e.g. matching SSN). If a matching order is found, clicking on the result will take you to the Order Summary screen (e.g. Referral Summary).
New Notifications – We now have the capability to send email notifications when the following actions occur. Please contact us to opt in to any of these notifications (csc@scisolutions.com).
• You have received a Flagged Comment from the Clarity Service Center or another Practice
• You have received an Attention Needed referral or surgical order from the Clarity Service Center
• A referral or surgical order has been Cancelled by the Referring Provider (sender)
Ability to copy direct link to a Clarity record
• Practices can click on the new arrow icon to access a permanent URL that links directly to the Referral or Surgical Order in Clarity. Paste this URL into your Electronic Medical Record system for easy access back to the referral.
Note: To maintain the security of the record, a user must be logged into Clarity when clicking on the hyperlink.
Updates for All Referral Users
Simplified Attachments – Attachments and Return Reports can now both be added to a referral in the Attachments section of the Referral Summary. The attachment link has been updated to be named Add Attachments or Report.
Updated Reporting Features
• *New Report*: An Open Orders/Referral Status Report has been added to the Reporting module. This report allows you to view all referrals sent by a practice that meet the search criteria selected prior to running the report. This report contains contact information for the Referring Practice, Specialist Practice and Patient.
• Export to Excel: Improvements have been made to the Excel file that is generated when exporting Inbound and Outbound referral worklists to Excel. All worklist columns are now available, including Specialty, Submitted by Staff, and Attachment Count.
