2. Explicit control of the message waiting "flag"
|
Many of you have asked for the ability to keep messages "flagged" until you explicitly turn them off. We have given you two ways to control this in the new release.
First, you can control it at the worklist level. Any referral that has a message in it shows in yellow highlight in the worklist, as shown. Remember that you can just hover over the Patient Name to see the most recent message.
The checkboxes (circled in red) allow you to select one or more referrals in a list. Then click on the "Flag Message" link (circled in black). This allows you to "Mark as Read" all selected referrals. You can use this same feature to select non-highlighted referrals, and to "Mark as Unread", which puts them back in your Messages Waiting list.
The second way to control the flag is inside the referral itself. If after opening it you discover that you want to keep it "flagged" (highlighted), just check the "Mark as Unread" box (circled in red), and this referral will stay in your Messages Waiting list.
